Summer Garden

Summer GardeningIt is recommended that the Summer Garden vegetables be planted as soon as the danger of frost is past. This means early May in the Mountain West area. It is best to wait until May 15 for peppers and tomatoes unless you put them under a hot cap. In longer season areas, vegetables such as corn and beans can be planted several times during the spring and early summer as well as in the fall garden for a continuous supply throughout the season.
