Grilled Cilantro Lime Salmon
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp jalapeno chopped
- 2 Tbsp cilantro chopped
- 2 Tbsp lime juice juice from 1/2 lime
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 salmon steaks
Instructions
- In small saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in minced garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper. Cook about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in jalapeno and cilantro.
- Put salmon steaks in quart size Ziploc bag. Pour butter mixture over salmon steaks. Close bag and knead a bit to get the sauce around all the steaks. Let marinate about 15 minutes.
- While the salmon steaks are marinating, preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
- Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon steaks on grill, cook 5 minutes each side, or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.
